Ellen Katz’s blood type is B—B for Broadway. She pursues her passion for Broadway "SuperMusicals!" and the best of the American Songbook by engaging others. Born in Baltimore, she received a BS in Music Education Magna cum Laude at the University of Maryland and taught in public and private schools.


For over twenty years, she has been invited to share her engaging presentations on "SuperMusicals!" for adults at prestigious organizations including The Chautauqua Institute, Johns Hopkins University, Peabody Conservatory of Music, The Osher Institute and for Florida Gulf Coast University in Naples, Florida. Her lecture series have received rave reviews from attendees and administrators as well.
